March Fraser’s Hill trip – Part 2

We did not see any new Saturniid or Sphingid but we saw this very rare moon moth – Actias selene

 

and this pristine female Cricula sp

and other interesting moths :
Tanaorhinus malayanus and T. rafflesii

Geometrid moth -  Protuliocnemis sp

Megapomponia imperatoria – This is the largest (5” long) and possibly the loudest cicada in the world.
